R. Kyle Womack, P.E. Biography
A native of the Midland/Odessa area, R. Kyle Womack, P.E., F.NSPE obtained his Bachelor of Science in civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, and is currently a member of the Texas Tech Civil Engineering Academy. After graduation Womack began a now 38 year career at Parkhill, Smith and Cooper, Inc. - a multi-disciplined engineering/architectural firm with offices in Midland, Lubbock, El Paso, Amarillo, Abilene and Las Cruces, NM. – where he currently serves as Vice President of Business Development. Womack is active in the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, serving in numerous leadership positions, including as President at the local and state level and is a Fellow Member of the National Society of Professional Engineers. He also serves as Vice-President of the Texas Engineering Foundation and is recognized as a Fellow of the Foundation. Womack is a past recipient of the Engineer of the Year and Young Engineer of the Year Awards from the Permian Basin Chapter of TSPE. He has also served on the Board for the Texas Council of Engineering Companies, and as President of the Permian Basin Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Womack's service to the community has included serving as President of the Midland Chamber of Commerce, President of the Midland-Odessa Transportation Alliance, President of the Buffalo Trail Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and Chairman of the Administrative Board for St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Midland. Womack resides in Horseshoe Bay, Texas with his wife Brenda.
